Nokia N920 leaks, rumour or real?

Expected in 2010, the Nokia N920 will be an alternative to the yet-to-be-launched Nokia N900. It’s a touch-only device with a 4.13 inch screen and the Maemo OS (possibly version 6). The N920 has full telephony and messaging with GSM, 3G, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The powerful 600MHz processor will allow multiple apps to run without problems.

The Maemo interface offers several different homescreens that are easily accessible with a simple swipe of the thumb and there’s an accelerometer for automatic screen rotation. Unlike the N900, which runs most apps in landscape mode, the N920 will operate primarily in portrait mode as it doesn’t have a slide out QWERTY keyboard.

If the rumour is true then it will compliment the N900 nicely, one Maemo phone with a QWERTY keyboard and one with a full touch interface
